GT have re-released their Edge Ti – updated with an oversize head tube but planted firmly in the past with that triple triangle design, neatly finished with a simple blasted finish with polished logos.
That’s just plain cool. Ritchey components aside, I want one.

I have been thinking of that design format for my upcoming custom steel. It will give me the stiffness for the upper triangle and better clearance for the tires… 25-28. You think it’s a good idea?
GT have nearly always done it.
You might want to check that the builder building your frame is happy to do it first too.
I see no reason not to do it, but I doubt it’d add anything much to the ride or strength of the frame or else everyone would be doing it!
