Colour. Done. Right.
Perfect harmony of Campag Super Record, a Pegoretti Falz fork, colour coded lever hoods and a custom saddle. It would also have worked with red bar tape and black hoods, but it’s perfect as it is.
I reckon this is how I might finish my next custom bike… Well, we all know there’ll be another!

Could not disagree more. The red totally ruins it!
Without the red hoods it may have worked.
Unlike you to not mention the chain on the small ring..tut tut!.
As owner of that bike i'm really proud of it…thank you for your comments….for the "bike with the red lipstick"
I like the added touch of the red valve extenders.
My guess is that was no accident – care to confirm or deny Nicola?…!
sorry Rich…i don't understand….
I was asking whether the tyres were chosen because of the red valves on them to match the red on the rest of the bike?!
Ok Rich…now i understand…sorry! Yes everything on that bike was decided with my mechanic here in Rome to balance the "useability" of the bike and the aehestetic….I don't want all the world to say that my bike is perfect….all i can say is that the, from a dinamic point of view, the combination frame-fork-wheelset is well balanced….and gives me really good sensations when i'm on the bike!
