This Is Not Goodbye…

Folks, it’s time for a rest.
This blog is a labour of love; and I do love it, very dearly. But it’s hard work and – aside from my readership figures – there’s scant reward…
But more to the point I’m trying to setup a new business at the moment and I need to re-divert my attention and efforts towards that such that the brands I am representing get the best of me and that my efforts best represent them.
There will still be Bike Fridays and the occasional WWBTD (please continue to send those in – even if I don’t post an article from it I’ll reply by email), along with other random postings here and there; but it’ll no longer be the almost-daily fayre that I’ve been trying to maintain. If I’m honest with you and myself, it was all getting a bit stale too – I was posting for the sake of posting at times, and I was struggling to come up with fresh content tarty enough to be worth posting on a site which bears this name.
I’m still happy to answer questions by email – you can use one of the submission forms, or find the direct email link on this page (or just use ask@ followed by this site’s domain name [I'm trying to avoid SPAM, not being elusive]!). One thing that will be coming soon is a new bike update, and on that front there could be a surprise in store (for those who don’t already know)…
If you’re intrigued or interested enough, you can follow my new business on richgearing.com; and if you’re in Australia and want to discuss any of the brands I’m representing, or you’re in the UK and want to get your brand into Australia, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
In my (partial) absence please keep visiting the likes of CycleEXIF, Ten Speed Hero, The 5th Floor, The Headset Press and Wannabe Bike Girl, amongst other excellent bike blogs (there’s a few other links on the footer of this site too). I also happen to know of a new site coming soon that’ll be worth keeping an eye on – I’ll share more about that the coming days.
So that’s all from me, for now – more occasional posts aside. I’ll be back though, you’ll see. This is not goodbye…

Have a good rest and good luck with the business. Enjoyed reading, particularly lugs to lightweights.
Oooh! You lucky thing! Good luck Rich, looking forward to helping you promote the new enterprise!
Thanks Adam!
Cheers Chris, much appreciated!
Best of luck with the new venture! You've got some good brands there to work with. Exciting stuff!
